Inner Parent
Positive Parenting: “Our sufferings and hurts as children are buried deep inside us. As adults, we prefer not to remember them and we often stay busy, instead. However, the hurt child always finds a way to get to the surface, especially in times of stress or moments of vulnerability during our adult lives. One mindfulness practitioner says if we want to completely heal our inner child, we have to nurture mindfulness. “Mindfulness will wake us up from the reality of our present suf- fering and help us deal with the state of our inner child.”
